1. LMS stands for Learning Management System, a software platform designed to facilitate the management and delivery of educational content and resources. It is commonly used in academic institutions to organize course materials, track student progress, enable communication between students and educators, and provide tools for assessments and assignments.  .Historical Context of LMS at IUM The International University of Management (IUM) adopted LMS as part of its strategy to enhance digital learning and provide flexible, accessible education for its students. LMS implementation at IUM evolved in response to the growing need for online learning tools, especially during the global COVID-19 pandemic. The shift towards blended learning required a platform where students could continue their education remotely, ensuring minimal disruption in academic progress. IUM integrated an LMS to allow students to access learning resources, submit assignments, and engage in discussions from any location, thereby modernizing its educational practices.

Additionally, the LMS integrates with other educational tools, reduces overhead costs associated with physical infrastructure, and offers a more engaging and effective learning experience through multimedia and interactive content. This comprehensive approach supports IUM’s goal of providing a modern, efficient, and accessible educational  experience.
